I am intrigued by the surprisingly complex physiology of hawkmoths. For my bachelor’s thesis, I aim to visualize the specific regions of their brain in which visual and olfactory inputs are processed. This research involves using immunohistochemical staining techniques to label neuronal activity in response to external stimuli.
