As part of the Junges Kolleg, Anna organized a workshop for researchers investigating the many diverse aspects of plant-pollinator interactions, hosted at the Bayerische Akademie Der Wissenschaften in Munich.
By bringing together researchers with diverse perspectives and research focuses, we had many insightful and engaging discussions about how pollinator behaviour, evolution, and physiology are entwined with aspects of the environment, such as climate change, flower features, and their co-evolution. In addition, Anna, Anupama, and Lochlan presented their work highlighting how we use behavioural experiments and modern computational tools to investigate hawkmoth-flower interactions with great detail. We were happy that Clara, our Masters student, was also able to join us for the workshop.
